Sports World celebrated its 45th anniversary in the summer of 2018 as a family owned and operated retail sporting goods store in Shreveport, Louisiana.  We are conveniently located at 8809 Jewella Ave just off LA Highway 3132 at Exit #4. We specialize in school uniforms, sports uniforms, custom embroidery of school logos and team symbols as well as screen printing.

WE ARE YOUR SPORTS PROFESSIONALS.  We have been a part of the Shreveport-Bossier sporting community for over four decades.  We specialize in team sports.  Sports World carries a full line of baseball and football equipment. Our staff has a unique talent for creating sports team uniforms that stand out on the field and is known for making the impossible, the possible. Sports World is also the place to go for your Letterman jackets and customized chenille patches. 

WE ARE YOUR SOURCE FOR ALL THINGS PLAID. Sports World has a Year-Round school uniform department serving the Ark-La-Tex with uniforms from School Apparel, Elderwear, and Classroom. In addition to our 20 different sizes in plaid jumpers and 30 different sizes in plaid skirts and skorts, we have cloth roll-up nap mats, backpacks, lunch boxes in both plaid and novelty prints.  We also carry the plaid doll clothes for your 18″ dolls.  We stock an excellent selection of plaid headbands, plaid bows, and streamers ribbons. Sports World keeps detailed records of each school’s uniform policy to ensure that we provide you with accurate information.
